Though the book bears his name, the book of Daniel is not actually about Daniel. And, while Daniel does some pretty heroic stuff, he is not ultimately the hero of his story. Rather, throughout his writing, Daniel works to point us to the one true hero, the Sovereign King, who is our confidence in changing seasons and uncertain futures.
