April Mission Partner Spotlight

A29 Japan – Grace Harbor Tokyo, Soma Fuchu, The Bridge Fellowship, Igreja Batista Reformada Hamamatsu, Igreja Batista Reformada Toyokawa, Gospel Life Church, Pillar Church of Okinawa

• Pray for our pastor cohort coming up in May here on Okinawa, where all the A29 Japan pastors and families will gather for mutual encouragement, prayer, and fellowship.
• Praise for two new churches being assessed and planted in Japan over the coming year and pray for their growth and flourishing.

A29 Asia Pacific – Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, Taiwan, Nepal, and China

• Pray for the 4th church plant being sent from Liberti Church where Adam Ramsey is the pastor in Australia for their growth and flourishing.
• Pray as the different regions roll out Pastor Cohorts this year that God would use them to deepen the bonds of brotherhood and sharpen leaders across all of Asia Pacific in the years ahead.
• Pray for Church to Church partnerships, as churches around the globe partner together in their differing regions all for the glory of God, the growth of the kingdom, and the good of His churches.
• Praise God for our first church plant as a region in China, we have been able to assess, train, and support them in their journey. For security reasons, we can’t say anything further, but know that God is working in the hearts of His people in this hard to reach country.
• Praise God for three new churches being assessed and planted in Nepal and two in the Philippines over the coming months and pray for their growth and flourishing.

The Praetorian Project 

• Pray for wisdom and discernment for Brian O’Day, the Praetorian Project Executive Director, The Praetorian Project governing board, and its staff. The opportunities for the work and advancement of The Praetorian Project abound. We need God’s wisdom to know when, where, and how to move forward.
• Pray for the healthy launch of Pillar Fayateville, NC (Easter 2025) and Pillar Killeen, TX (August 2025). These are churches planting intwo significant U.S. Army Communities. This will bring the project fully into engaging with the U.S. Army in significant ways. We want these churches to be healthy and effective in their Gospel work and witness.

City to City Japan 

• Pray for our Gospel to Okinawa Cohorts that are led by City to City facilitators. Where they facilitate training, coaching, assessment and resourcing of Okinawan church planters and church planter candidates and cultivate interchurch collaboration on church planting initiatives.
• Pray that God would renew the cities of Japan spiritually, socially and culturally for His glory.
• Give thanks for God’s generous provision to City to City Japan, and for all of the volunteers who contribute in numerous ways.
• Give thanks for those who have a heart for church planting within Japan.
• Pray for church planters in City to City’s global network, that they would teach truthfully, serve faithfully and be encouraged by the Holy Spirit.
