They are thankful to God for the privilege of being instruments in His hands in Japan, where there is religious freedom but very few Christians.
Praise God that even though there are only a few Christians, they’re not alone. They have a small group that is growing together in their relationship with Christ.
Praise God with them that they were able to celebrate new life in Christ this September with three baptisms, two of which were their teenage sons.
Pray that they and their church would grow in love for Christ.
Pray for the repentance of some brothers in rebellion against Christ.
Pray that God would help the church live out the Gospel culture in their daily lives.
Praise that God has continued to provide, and also that He would continue to provide. Unfortunately, despite living in a wealthy country, their monthly financial support is incomplete. This is a reason for gratitude and prayer at the same time, because each month it feels like the numbers won’t add up, but so far, they’ve seen God’s provision month by month.
